Sterling Silver & Dorset Sage Green Seaglass Necklace - 18"
This statement piece sea glass pendant features a smooth and fairly flat piece of genuine ocean-tumbled sea glass found along our beautiful Jurassic Coast.
Hung from an 8mm sterling silver ring style bail and suspended through a 18” sterling silver belcher chain.
The colour of this piece of sea glass is “Sage Green”.
This shade of sea glass is believed to have originated from the Depression era glassware, soda, mineral water, ink bottles and mason jars. This shade’s rarity is classed as 2.5 out of 4, 4 being the rarest.
This piece of sea glass has been carefully washed and set into a sterling silver bezel. I have added some solid sterling silver balls (pebbles) as a feature.
The pendant measures 28 × 25mm (not including the bail).
Due to its weight, this pendant has been fully tested and hallmarked at the London Assay Office as 925 Sterling Silver and also includes my own unique Sponsors/Makers Mark “SJW”. This serves as a guarantee of authenticity to prove that the metal is of the quality and finesse described.
Each piece sea glass found on our beautiful Dorset coastline is different in shape, thickness, size and colour. And of course, quality. I have meticulously sorted each piece according to their quality for jewellery making.
All of my items are sent in their natural state and will tarnish with wear. To keep your jewellery bright, clean with a polishing cloth. Avoid spraying with perfume.
This piece of jewellery will be carefully gift wrapped and presented in a ribbon-tied hessian fabric bag, and sent in an eco-friendly recyclable mailing box that fits in through your letter box.
