While the precious metal clay was still soft, I hand-stamp the reverse of the pendant with “999” to clearly represent the 99.9% silver content.

Fine / pure silver is a clay-like material made of fine silver powder which has been reclaimed and recycled from silver waste, water-soluble organic binders are added producing a precious metal clay.
The clay is then rolled and shaped using texture mats, moulds, cutters or organic items, shells, leaves and flowers, which are impressed into the clay before being fired in either a kiln or hand fired with a blow torch.
