Nestled in this handcrafted 100% recycled sterling silver bezel setting is a pear shaped (teardrop) Rutilated Quartz gemstone.
The pendant measures a maximum of 32mm x 14mm (including the bail).
925 stamped on the reverse alongside my own logo…an Ammonite.
Lightly oxidised and given a satin finish. This pendant is totally unique and you will never find another gemstone with the same detail.
Suspended from an 18” Sterling Silver Belcher Chain…also with a satin finish.
Rutilated Quartz:
Rutilated Quartz is a variety of Quartz which contains acicular (needle-like) inclusions of Rutile. These inclusions mostly look golden, but they also can appear silver, copper red or black.
While usually inclusions often reduce the value of crystal, Rutilated Quartz is valued for the quality of these inclusions.
It acts as a potent energy filter, purging negative emotions and fostering emotional clarity. The presence of golden or silver rutile needles is believed to infuse the stone with transformative energy that aids in releasing emotional baggage and promoting self-love.
